The Letter of Peace addressed to the UN is a document written by a group of persons with a great concern for peace, directed to all those who have a will for peace in the world and desire to work for it. It consists of an introduction, ten questions, a conclusion and a postscript.
It was presented publicly for the first time in Barcelona, Spain on April 22, 1993, and was subsequently disseminated in more than 80 countries on the five continents, gathering thousands of signatures in most parts of the world.
About the Letter of Peace addressed to the UN have emerged a series of initiatives both for promotion and dissemination, to work and study its content in an interdisciplinary way, in various forums, seminars, courses and university classrooms.
Signing this letter does not imply any connection with or obligation to the promoters of the same. It would be wonderful if those who agree with it, would on their own initiative promote peace in the light of these facts.
